A freeze warning has been issued for the San Francisco Bay Area through Dec. 6, 2013. The Bay Area woke up to another chilly morning on Thursday with temperatures hovering around the freezing mark. And in some places, it actually was freezing. Before 6 a.m., the temperature hit 19 degrees in Napa even if it was just for a moment. Temps clocked in at 30 degrees in San Jose, 32 on the Peninsula and the East Bay, and a "balmy" 37 in San Francisco. It was so icy in the South Bay, crews were de-icing planes at Norm Mineta International Airport in San Jose. And there were black ice warnings in Walnut Creek at Ygnacio Valley Road, where patches of ice were making it dangerous for drivers |
