What is SanGaMa ?
SanGaMa is a registered 501(c)(3) non profit organization approved by Internal Revenue Service in the San Francisco bay area. We operate with a different look and feel and designed from ground-up, to stand out from the rest!
It is a friendly volunteer group started for the benefit of Malayalis living in San Francisco Bay Area locations like Dublin, Pleasanton, San Ramon, Danville, Fremont, San Jose, Mountain House, Livermore, Walnut Creek,Concord etc ... We celebrate festivals of Kerala like Onam,Vishu, Christmas/New Year etc...This also functions as a forum for networking with other Malayali (Keralite) families in the area.
By the way, good food and celebration of life are very important for us!
However, We are not your typical Malayali group :)
We don't want to be limited by language or geographical locations! Most of us have worked in different parts of the world, and have developed a global vision, but still with roots in Kerala. We still deeply love the festivals and celebrations and unique cultural aspects passed down to us over generations, and made us what we are today. We are still discovering their greatness! We welcome you all to join our unique journey!
We have periodic get-togethers for our main events or we go for short-trips in the bay area or we just hang out with one another
occasionally! If you know of other Malayali families in the neighborhood who might be interested, please spread the word.
People living in San Francisco bay areas would find this group useful.
We are a friendly group..so feel free to join !
